THE BOOK BOOGIE!
Reading rewards project. We select one Kosciusko elementary school each year. We partner with them to track the recreational reading of all grades (K-5th grade). Monthly awards are provided to two students from each grade and one teacher/staff (they lead by example!). At the end of year, during the awards program, a grand prize will be given out to the top two reading students and one teacher.
OH THE PLACES WE WILL GO!
Interactive outdoor museum to raise awareness of literacy and art.
Benches that look like books will be artfully depicted and placed around the Kosciusko County community. The "Oh the Places We Will Go" project is the perfect trifecta: community, art, and promotion of reading!Reading takes the mind soaring over plains, valleys and many places. And the art/book benches will take people places all over our community to discover them!
Interested in sponsoring a bench? Yeah! Contact us! The benches will all be launched together in June 2023 along with a car show! Then there will be a massive county-wide scavenger hunt to find them all!!
